This vacuum cleaner has a lot going for it. Quiet for a shop vacuum cleaner. It is well made and has good suction power. It hangs easily and the remote switch is a big plus. Comes with a large number of attachments. Another big plus is that special vacuum bags can be used with this device. I'm not talking about a cloth or paper lid covering a ribbed paper filter, but a real vacuum bag, like in a household vacuum container. When it's full, just throw it away. The actual paper filter and innards remain much cleaner. I used to hate cleaning those paper louver filters. Of course, you don't have to use bags if you don't want to. The only downside I find to this device is the size of the hose and the size of the nozzles. It uses a 1.7 inch diameter hose and nozzles. While there is nothing wrong with this, it does make finding additional/replacement hoses and nozzles more difficult. Most vacuums use a 1 1/4" or 2 1/2" diameter hose. So you can't go to Lowe's or Walmart and find 1.7 inch bits. The Rigid at Home Depot is the only other hanging vacuum I've seen that uses this size hose. In fact, 1.7 inch hard nozzles fit this vacuum cleaner. I can't find any 1.7" bits even at Revain. So if you need extra bits you can order them from Vacmaster or buy hard bits of the appropriate size. The hard main hose is suitable for this vacuum cleaner, but due to the design, you cannot attach it to the vacuum cleaner. All other attachments work perfectly.
