This was my first LCD monitor and after much research I thought it was great value for money. Last night while I was burning a DVD and surfing the internet the monitor went off. I thought it was a system crash/reboot but nothing happened. When I turned the vx2025wm back on I noticed it was smoking. I quickly turned it off and now it's a useless piece of junk. I'm just glad I kept my old CRT monitor for safe keeping. I think it's a coincidence? Perhaps. But I've never had a device burn and have always used A LOT of electronic devices. Cheer up.
