I love doing my own nails. I have tried about 10 different types of polygel so far. This gel has by far the longest hold and is the easiest to use. When I first tried using this gel I noticed it was quite a bit harder to get out of the tube. It is a much drier and stiffer gel than those I have used previously. When I tried to push the gel around on the nail form it was slightly more difficult than other gels I have tried. However I quickly realized that because it was dry it handled the liquid from the brush I was using to push the gel around much better. It didn't get so watery that it was basically sliding off. Additionally the stiffer gel made hold in place much better instead of slide around as I moved my hand into the light to dry it off. This gel stayed in place under the nail forms so well I only had to do each nail one time. With other gels I have tried before at least one slid around because the gel was so wet or loose it always had to be taken off and re-done.As to the nails themselves. They haven't broken or chipped in 10 days. The color is a medium shade of purple when cold as expected and as your hands heat up they change to pink. The second picture shows where my hands started to get warm but the air was cold so they only changed half and half.I go to bed around 10 PM and get up for the day around 6 AM. My nails easily glow from the time I go to bed to the time I wake up in the morning. The glow pigment holds light really well. Overall this my favorite set of polygel so far.
