I bought this for a mixed use building. AMP died and wanted something with Bluetooth. I was concerned about the BT range after reading reviews of the dual zone version. It has a very good range. AMP live in the hall below. BT works on the top floor, insulated floor + two walls. Place your phone on the opposite wall about 40 feet from the AMP and it will work! It also announces when the device is connected. Sounds better than their old setup which was a Sony 2 channel home receiver. By default it returns to AUX after hard power on (holiday switch). Then you need to press Mode to switch to BT. If you press and hold the mode button for too long, e.g. B. 2 seconds, the power doubles and the device switches off. I thought he had died! I wish mode was a button like Source. This place also has an old classic iPod. I am trying to use it as USB. He put the iPod in docking mode and couldn't figure out how to get it out again. The radio does not receive many signals in this range. Didn't bother with a microphone input. The switches are OFF so you can just turn off the rooms. Great AMP if you have multiroom and something like Echo.
