Still working after 3 years

Updated 6/16/22 Another year and no problems. I connected it to two RV Group 27 batteries in parallel. I've been disconnected in Yosemite and many places in Southern California and it still works. I found another device that doesn't like square wave AC. This is a travel hair dryer with a built-in AC/DC converter. The converter buzzes when plugged in, even when the hair dryer is off. Since then I've had about 60 dates with no problems. This includes a coffee maker, RV microwave, DVD/TV combo, laptop and cell phone charger. The only device that doesn't like the modified sine wave is the Waterpik Irrigator. Its engine doesn't sound as powerful as it does at home, although it still runs. Some reviewers complain about the lack of cables, but didn't look closely enough. The box has something like a double bottom, under which there is a pocket with cables. There's also a little guide that explains what happens if you try to draw too many amps from your battery before charging it. When the battery voltage gets too low, the inverter starts beeping. Keep drawing and it will soon turn off completely to save your battery from a devastating discharge. The remote control switch (sold separately) is very useful in my RV. I keep the inverter and battery in the utility bay and turn them on and off from inside the RV. My battery is always charged via the solar panel on top of the van, even when I'm on the road, so the air conditioning is usually enough to power a coffee maker and TV/DVD combo at campgrounds with no outlets or limited generator run time.

Cons
