from the couch, lol). I originally bought the adult version but the table didn't rise to the height needed for my sofa, the sofa sits pretty low and has these big chaise longue cushions and I'm a small person. I wanted a lower desk and this kids desk is perfect for that type of height adjustment PLUS it comes with a drawer which is an unexpected blessing. I've listed some pros and cons (or actually wish they were different) in terms of adult use in relation to the table below, but overall I'm very happy I found this and honestly I think so that it shouldn't just be labeled for kids. Pros: - Height adjustment options - Varies from 21.3" to 30", perfect for low sofas, chairs etc - Height adjustment mechanism - *UPDATE* Moved from Con to Pro! The height is easily adjustable. Little did I know there was a locking mechanism inside in addition to the wheel stops. To secure the table, simply pull up until it clicks into place. Then tighten the locking screws. Seems like you need to unlock after every elevation change. To unlock, pull FULLY up and then all the way down. This will reset the mechanism and you can then drag to the new desired height. Any problems I had with slip completely gone. I wish there was some detail in the instructions or maybe in this list of this information. Because of this, I was on the verge of returning the table. - Large desktop - I have a laptop (on a stand), keyboard, mouse and more. all the crafting materials on the table where there is room for my drink, phone and headset. - Really flat feet. One of the most important things to consider when looking for a table for the sofa is that it usually comes with wheels, which means it won't slide under the sofa. Having low seat cushions and deep backrests means you don't have access to a table. These legs slide nicely under my low sofa (when using hardwood sliders). - The drawer was an incredibly fun and cool item that I use a lot. I keep papers, craft supplies, my writing from work, the occasional pens, and more. It's not too big or too small, slides out smoothly, and doesn't take up much room on your lap. so that objects do not roll and fall from above. Also, there is a large gap at the back of the table, so the table is not completely flat or articulated. It can be a bit annoying and I wish they could find a way to make it flatter. Overall I LOVE this table and am already using it more than I thought I would (my daughter and I shared a take out dinner while watching a movie last night as I got tired of moving around). It is very durable, good quality and absolutely worth the money.
