Fast and effective (but relatively cheap) upgrade for older PCs

Purchased to upgrade an old PC (circa 2012) from 4GB to 32GB (# of purchases: 2). Pull out old DIMMs and insert these. Observed BIOS reports good news on first boot after update. Haven't done anything since then except enjoy the vastly improved multitasking. It's impossible to stress, even though you've probably heard it before: interacting with Windows becomes exponentially more enjoyable when running on a computer with enough excess RAM where the operating system relies on disk swapping, like, hmm , never. No problems after 3 months or more; The return on investment was excellent. I notice that the price seems to have increased a bit during this period; If the cost factor makes you hesitant, it might be worth checking the price history and setting up an alert if the price falls again (assuming it's still above the historical average when you read this). said that as long as other brands also charge relatively high amounts, I would be a happy buyer, even if I had to pay significantly more. in megabytes: From a long-term perspective, it's not hard to appreciate the fact that this product and its competitors objectively offer a truly amazing amount of exceptionally fast and reliable memory built with incomprehensibly small circuit manufacturing technologies, all crammed into a package of less than $100. Costs!)
