2 duds in a row on computers and accessories

I received 2 sets of 16 (2x8). None of them folded the box. Tried on 3 of my PCs, couldn't get any of them to release in single or dual configuration. Ram LEDs flickered all the time causing endless boot loops. Switched back to other ram sticks and it worked. It would be very valuable if they worked

Pros
  • a practical thing
Cons
  • some disadvantages

How RAM Boosts Performance on a CPU-Limited PC

RAM did everything it was supposed to do, but the poor PC just doesn't do Windows 8 justice. I've never seen CPU pegs at 98%. , so often. Wanted to see how more memory, from 4GB to 16GB, would help a banging HP Pavilion Slimline 400-214. AMD E1-2500 APU soldered to MB and not allowing for upgrades. The cheapest alternative, upgrade your RAM.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons

Went like clockwork!

I've been playing around with computers for extra money and for fun and when my niece came over with her work computer and I saw that it only had 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB) I found it this on Revain and decided to give it a try. It took me 10 minutes to disassemble the computer, clean everything and put in new memory. It started great. I definitely recommend these memory modules for upgrades.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Works but Speccy only shows 600Mhz

Bought to fix several PCs for charity. Installation was easy enough and PCs recognize them with no problems. Everything is loaded and working. While they work, they don't report 1600MHz as advertised. The original RAM reported correctly, so I'm a bit concerned that it isn't. As the name suggests, they work but don't expect to get the advertised MHz. I think the price was too good to work out of the box as advertised.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Style 90

Defective product suitable for computer and accessories

I bought this RAM for my PC and it worked fine at first, then after a few days it started to make errors when you unplug the RAM and put it back, it will work until you disable it, then it must be removed and replaced again. Then a day later it wouldn't even let my computer boot up so I put in my old RAM sticks that worked great for 5 years and the computer was back to normal. So I returned this item and got my money back.

16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

This memory works fine in my ThinkCentre M83 Tower, even though it's only been 2 days. I was able to max out the allowed storage to 32GB for a very good price. I'm in IT so installing memory sticks was an easy task. It took me 5 minutes to unplug all USB cables and open the case and installed the new memory in about 1 minute. The performance boost wasn't obvious, but I can open more apps and do more things than with just 16GB of RAM.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Color not required

They work! in Internal Components

I have had several higher rated PNY Anarchy sticks that have degraded over time causing intermittent BSOD errors. At some point I got fed up and bought these actually very cheap RAM sticks and replaced the old memory cards. Problem solved and great performance so far. Admittedly it's only been three weeks, but compared to the old state of my computer it's been amazing. I can't comment on gaming performance as I didn't test the temps, but for everything else they seem more than adequate.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Security

Fast and effective (but relatively cheap) upgrade for older PCs

Purchased to upgrade an old PC (circa 2012) from 4GB to 32GB (# of purchases: 2). Pull out old DIMMs and insert these. Observed BIOS reports good news on first boot after update. Haven't done anything since then except enjoy the vastly improved multitasking. It's impossible to stress, even though you've probably heard it before: interacting with Windows becomes exponentially more enjoyable when running on a computer with enough excess RAM where the operating system relies on disk swapping…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Zero
