Better than I thought
When I first tried them I overlooked the fact that there was a progressive focus pair and a (very close) single focus pair. I tried single focus (I thought both pairs are the same) and it wasn't what I needed. Luckily I looked at a few other reviews that mentioned they were different. Turns out a progressive couple was right there, and it seems that's exactly what I was hoping for :)
