Advantages: 1) Received this product and assembled straight away - very easy to make yourself. 2) Looks very strong in the double sided vertical method we used. 3) High quality for the price. Cons: 1) Our 13 piece Calphalon set doesn't quite fit perfectly due to a 12" pan, instead of storing it in front of an organizer and partially blocking access to the bottom of the pot and pan, we put it on the tallest possible Level (due to their size) so the lids on most of our pots and pans are upside down to keep everything working. If the midsection were a few more inches higher, it would be absolutely perfect. 2) One more note, the hanging metal supports sag under more weight, as you can see one of our pans on the right is sagging a bit. Because of this, I'm not sure if this unit can actually only be mounted vertically on one side; It looks like you don't want the even weight distribution to sag too much. One final note, even with the lids stored upside down, we are very happy to have this organizer in our kitchen and would happily recommend it to anyone. Just be aware that you may need to get a little creative with your organization and not worry about your heavier pans being less than 90 degrees.
