Plastic fastener squeaks, metal clip hurts the dog

for a 9 month old German shepherd. It had good reviews so I bought it. If my dog pulls hard enough, the plastic clasp may break. part is wrong. My pup tried to take off at full speed and got caught in the metal. Damaged his lower jaw. Appears to be cheaply made.
