I really like these locks that we put on boxes with square edges. They look great (unlike many other child gates that look ugly). And they were easy to open and close (although our little one had a hard time). But after a month the glue wore off and they fell off. We pasted them very carefully, first cleaning the surface with alcohol and letting it dry completely, and then after sticking the lock, let it dry for 24 hours before touching it. Despite these efforts, they fell. Now we use uglier locks but they are much more secure.
