Solid All-Purpose Harness

This works great as an all-purpose harness - I forgot I was wearing it on a rocky weekend and it's everything you could really ask for in a harness. Pros: Resizing. I usually wear a size S harness and it fits me perfectly, it's quite fitted but not quite. A wide range would make this a great pendant to lend to people as it will suit many people. - Cozy. The leg loops are a little softer than my other harnesses and I didn't notice them digging into my legs after holding the leash/topper for long periods of time. When I first put it on I was a bit worried that the leg loop adjustment buckles would dig in during hanging/securing, but I didn't feel them at all. The strap wasn't going anywhere either. As I said, I put it on and didn't think about it during the day, which means it's comfortable and fits! I didn't do multiple pitches or hanging belays, so I can't comment on that. Large gear loops. I was carrying a double rack and a few other items on the gear loops and they seemed a bit larger than my usual trad harness. If you don't like big walls, you almost certainly have enough space for whatever you want (if you put double shelves together). - Evenly aligned gear loops. Thanks to the dual adjustment of the waist belt (one buckle on each side) you can tighten it and the gear loops will not become asymmetrical like a standard single adjustment harness. - Convenient packaging. This strap folds up nicely and isn't too bulky, which annoyed me using other straps when trying to pack things into a small backpack with a few tweaks. - Simple design. All black color is pleasant and unobtrusive. Disadvantages: - The front gear loops are tilted forward. This can actually be an advantage for people who like forward angled gear loops that bring their gear forward for easier access; I know this is common on many suspension models. I'm not used to this design so I think I'll have to get used to it. - Rebuilt for some use cases. It's a good all-round harness, but definitely not ultra-light. You need to adjust more buckles when turning on and off. There is an extra loop above the belay loop for attaching a chest harness, which I don't use (although I found it handy to have an extra loop to attach the rope to when descending without clogging my belay loop). If you want to do light sports, mountaineering or something else, you may need something simpler. Overall I would recommend this strap as a one stop choice for anyone who is a beginner in the gym looking for a strap that will grow with them. the traditional climber who likes to carry too much stuff (me), to someone who wants an extra harness to lend to friends.
