Firstly, it's not one magnet on each strip, it's 5 separate magnets that are (poorly) glued and then held in place with a blue sticker. I had already removed 2 small magnets from the mount and attached them to the back of another pole. I read in a review that the sticker can be removed but to be honest it would take an incredibly long time as it is not a peel off sticker it is a glued one. It's like taking a band-aid off Bigfoot. Overall I'm not happy with this and will find another product with a magnet and no ugly stickers on the front.
