Good product! the best in garage storage

these are really good magnets. No problem, my knives stay in place. I read numerous reviews and looked at other bars. It was the best price. A few people have mentioned that they didn't like the 12-inch magnetic tool holder that's decorated in blue at the front of the stem. I didn't like it either. No problem as the magnets can be removed. There are five of them. one at a time with a flathead screwdriver and simply use the universal scraper to peel off and replace the sticky paper. I put a…

It's not one magnet, it's 5 glued to the rod

Firstly, it's not one magnet on each strip, it's 5 separate magnets that are (poorly) glued and then held in place with a blue sticker. I had already removed 2 small magnets from the mount and attached them to the back of another pole. I read in a review that the sticker can be removed but to be honest it would take an incredibly long time as it is not a peel off sticker it is a glued one. It's like taking a band-aid off Bigfoot. Overall I'm not happy with this and will find another product…

Not designed for pegboards

They come with wall mounting anchors and a couple of wire hooks for hanging on the edge of something I think, but there doesn't seem to be an option to mount them to a standard 1" pegboard. With plastic brackets on the ends of each bracket, the center-to-center spacing of the mounting holes at the ends is close enough at 13 inches to align with the perforated panel holes, but I can't find any perforated panel brackets that can hold up with these With the magnet holders and the supplied wire…

Handy tool holder

They do their job. I found it convenient to use mounting brackets so I can slip tools with handles behind the bar and then attach tools without handles, like wrenches and countersinks, to the magnetic side. The magnetic attraction is not strong, so the tools can be easily pulled out. I have another set of 20 pound pull magnet bars that I use for large clamps and hammers. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the magnets seem to have a few dead spots, I put the screwdriver to the front and…

Good enough magnets but annoying sticky stickers

Same goes for the previous reviewer, Matt is very right about the sticker being a pain. Attached is a photo of what you will find when you remove them. I am giving it three stars instead of two because a) it does what a magnet holder is supposed to do but is strong enough b) I like the way they are strung together and held together as an option. Still planning on using a few, at least in the shed I'm remodeling, was going to use the others indoors but won't until I remove the stickers. In any…

Good item in garage storage

Good magnets hold whatever tools I put on them. No problem. The assembly was more than fun. The screws they send to use are too short. I read this in a review but thought the manufacturer had already fixed it. nope You will need about 1 1/2 inch long drywall screws to install them. Be careful when installing them. If you overtighten the screws, the plastic will crack and it will go bad. Do it by hand or in a circle. Reduce your wifi driver down to about three. Then everything will be fine. I…

Practical tool holder

They do their job. I've found that using mounting brackets works well so I can hide tools with handles behind the shaft and then attach tools without handles, like wrenches and countersinks, to the magnetic side. The magnetic attraction is not strong, so the tools can be easily pulled out. I have another set of 20 pound pull magnet bars that I use for large clamps and hammers. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is that the magnets seem to have a few dead spots, I put the screwdriver forward…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

This would easily be a 5 star product but with the hardware I received they cannot be installed period. These magnetic bars are amazing and the price is amazing. However, the supplied screws are simply too short. As beautiful as they are, if they can't be made, they're useless. IF you plan on using plastic tips to secure them, then you are SOL. The screws should be at least 1/2 inch longer. I love how they eventually morph into a continuous 48 inch handlebar. (2 24" rods, 1 36" rod + 1 12" rod…
