They do their job. I found it convenient to use mounting brackets so I can slip tools with handles behind the bar and then attach tools without handles, like wrenches and countersinks, to the magnetic side. The magnetic attraction is not strong, so the tools can be easily pulled out. I have another set of 20 pound pull magnet bars that I use for large clamps and hammers. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the magnets seem to have a few dead spots, I put the screwdriver to the front and the screwdriver rolled sideways about half an inch before finding magnetic attraction. Some people say they don't like the blue sticker on the magnet, but it's important to keep it as the sticker prevents magnetic dust/fragments from breaking off and sticking to tools.
