these are really good magnets. No problem, my knives stay in place. I read numerous reviews and looked at other bars. It was the best price. A few people have mentioned that they didn't like the 12-inch magnetic tool holder that's decorated in blue at the front of the stem. I didn't like it either. No problem as the magnets can be removed. There are five of them. one at a time with a flathead screwdriver and simply use the universal scraper to peel off and replace the sticky paper. I put a strip of tape over the area of the magnets. Works perfectly.
