I recently needed a bandage on my arm after shoulder surgery. The basic option provided by the hospital is inconvenient and/or helpful. I bought this sling and was amazed at the difference. Good strong support, padded adjustable shoulder strap and good size armrest for arm and shoulder support. I'm so glad I made this investment, it has made 5 weeks in suspension so much more enjoyable.
