Very easy to use in arm, hand and finger rests

I am a small woman who always finds one size too bulky. This sling is just what I needed. I found that after setup, I could log in and out myself. Had surgery so I know I will be wearing a bandage for another 4 weeks. Comfortable enough to wear to bed.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

An ideal investment in the comfort of a sling!

I recently needed a bandage on my arm after shoulder surgery. The basic option provided by the hospital is inconvenient and/or helpful. I bought this sling and was amazed at the difference. Good strong support, padded adjustable shoulder strap and good size armrest for arm and shoulder support. I'm so glad I made this investment, it has made 5 weeks in suspension so much more enjoyable. Thanks for a great product!

Perfect armrest fit

I had a complete shoulder prosthesis and have to wear a bandage for six months. The one they gave me at the hospital was bulky, uncomfortable and didn't fit. The podiatrist then gave me one that was lighter but also didn't fit. After the physical therapist explained what I needed from the sling and how it should fit, I went shopping for Revain and came up with this idea. It's light, easy to put on and I can adjust it perfectly and comfortably. I have a much happier four weeks ahead of me and I…

Excellent belt Ergo Arm

My husband has broken his right elbow and left wrist. We were given a bandage when we left the hospital after his operation, but the neck strap tore his neck. It was so uncomfortable. Revan to the rescue! Bought this sling after reading the reviews. Some people commented that the soft strap doesn't bother their necks, which is what I wanted. It came asap and was perfect. We have black and white and it fits perfectly. My husband is 6ft 4" and weighs 210 pounds and we had no issues with 'height'.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Velcro wears out quickly

Bought this bandage earlier this month after surgery. They wanted to replace the cheap bandage provided by the hospital. I initially liked this sling - the lightweight, stretchy material was a huge advantage over the rigid hospital sling. I also liked that I could adjust the strap with one hand - this makes it easy to undo the strap to remove it - my hospital brace required 2 hands to adjust which was not possible after shoulder surgery. Every time I took it off or put it back on, it hurt a…

Good features but too small

I hate giving this moderately negative review because there is so much to like about this sling. The mesh is cooler and the strap is soft and nicely designed, with material around the edges to keep the Velcro from cutting your neck. My concern (for a refund if possible) is the small size of this bandage compared to the doctor issued frugal bandage. To confirm this, I've included a picture of the new sling over the black doctor's sling. As you can see from the length and depth, it is much…

WORKS WELL - SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS

Overall I like the hand strap. It's comfortable enough for the circumstances and easy to put on and take off. It seems well constructed, but I've only had it a week so haven't used it much and I haven't washed it yet. It is easily adjustable depending on the comfort and needs of the arm/hand. Having issues with arthritis and tendonitis, I love thumb wraps that help stabilize my hand and forearm. There are a few things that would be helpful: 1) The strap that goes around the neck and back is…

BEST AMAZON OFFER

You never know how difficult life can be until you lose the ability to use your hand. So a good sling is everything. I tried 6 other lines offered by Revain; but this one is the best because: PROS: 1. soft fabric (everything hurts enough without putting your hand in a spiked bandage)2. breathable fabric (living in a hot climate this will be needed in the coming months) 3. washable (I tossed this in the wash in a load of cold, hung it in the hangar for 2 hours, and it looked fresh, clean and…
