After I received the air conditioner from UPS, I took it out of the box and let it stand upright for a little over 3 days without moving it, plugging it in, etc. After installing it, I turned it back on its place, I plugged it in and everything seemed to be working as it should with no issues until almost 2 weeks later it started making extremely loud knocking noises and shaking aggressively. I have had many portable air conditioners over the years and have never had a problem like this air conditioner. I installed and serviced correctly so I don't know what the problem is. At first I started going back but between work, getting the kids to school and a quick write-off to find a new air conditioner so we wouldn't be without it any longer than we should (I live in Louisiana so not only is it's super hot, it's unbearably humid). The rear window is gone. So now it is unusable and is in storage. It ran at 10,000 BTU for 2 weeks, I didn't notice much difference in cooling than my 5,000 BTU Midea brand from Walmart.
