Bought several packs to replace the CFLs in both of our bathrooms. Appearance is of course very subjective, but in our opinion these transparent bulbs look much better than translucent CFLs or incandescent bulbs. When off they are almost invisible and when on they give bathrooms a pretty look. Not to mention the very low power consumption, they more than pay for themselves over time. Others have criticized the labeling of lightbulbs (which is required by law), but if they're posted above your head or above your bathroom mirror, believe me, you'll never see them unless you look for them, and even then you have to do you search diligently to find them. . So do not worry. Time will tell how long these lights will last (I expect a long time) but so far we are very happy with them and would highly recommend them.
