First impressions were amazing. The packaging was well thought out and presented... Great first impression. A few things I love about the mic: The shock-absorbing mount is great at reducing vibration noise The stepless gain control is great for making simple level adjustments Battery life was very long The battery indicator is something I've never seen on a mic before, and it is very good cozy. My complaints: No auto power off/on. There is no special dead cat (it goes through the windsock). However, my claims are not worth deducting a star. This is a great mic at a great price for creative people of all levels.
