Review on ⚡️ Ultimate Powerex MH-C9000PRO: Unleashing the Professional Charger-Analyzer by Amber Westbrooks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent NiMH and NiCad Charger Analyzer Charger

Have been using Maha Energy products for many years. I have had an older Maha 4 slot charger for over 10 years and it still works great. The MH-C9000Pro is an excellent tool for charging and reconditioning AA and AAA NiCd and NiMH batteries. The backlit display is clearly visible and easy to read from several meters away. The backlight can be turned on and off as desired. The instrument is easy to use, but requires careful following of the instructions the first time. It's not difficult to use, just not intuitive. The charge and discharge rate can be selected for each or all slots. However, it still requires the mode and speeds to be confirmed when installing each battery. The flexibility adds some complexity and it's not plug and play like my plain old charger. The batteries must be inserted individually after switching on. The benefit of this analyzer is that it reports the status of each battery as it goes through a charge or discharge cycle. You know exactly the capacity each cell has after a full charge-discharge-charge cycle. It is interesting to see the differences between brands and individual batteries of the same type. My white Eneloops, which are several years old, have had the most consistent milliamp hour readings, which are fairly close to what the label says. Black Eneloop Pro, Kodak, RayOVac, Thunderbolt, and GE/Sanyo batteries showed significant differences, and most of them were below their stated capacity. Eneloop Pro and Kodak AA batteries have increased their capacity to almost full capacity after a refresh cycle. You will learn which batteries in your collection perform best. After a week of use I am very satisfied and recommend it to anyone who wants to get the best performance out of their AA and AAA batteries. The only downside is that the device does not support lithium batteries. Perhaps the next version will support newer battery technology.
