I have a 12" Samsing S7+ tablet. I liked the fact that the stand looks like a student despite its light weight (1.6 lbs frontally), but there was a couple of issues 1) the support mechanism is actually a rod mechanism (two ball joints with a small crossbar between them, but there is no adjustment to tighten the ball joint on the stand and it quickly sagged to a horizontal position under the weight of the tablet. That's for me not really an issue, i like that it's generally horizontal and has some play in the other ball joint to help tilt it, but it's disappointing nonetheless 2) the ball joint behind the tablet has a plastic threaded collar and it locks in place and Held in place by threading a plastic nut onto the frame, this may be fine if you intend to keep the head in a position e.g u hold, but i expect to turn your head from vertical to horizontal quite often. This acts against the pressure of the plastic nut on the ball joint. The advantage is that you don't have to loosen the knob to turn the tray, but approaching them causes some play over time, which requires tighter tightening of the nut, until eventually the nut becomes impossible to tighten or breaks. It's just not a good long-term design. You will need at least one metal nut (and possibly a metal bracket). To return.
