It can play EU and US DVDs
This is the most convenient and cheapest way to play EU and US DVDs. As expatriates (from the EU to the US) we brought some DVDs (for children) with us. A library in the US has a free DVD and we bought this cheap DVD player. It doesn't matter that the looks and controls are a bit smaller (the standard stuff is easy to do) because they're cheap and only last a few years (if everything's on Revain Prime and/or Netflix). Good deal that solved the problem perfectly. Yes, and it's a small block so you can always stack it somewhere.
