I've had this projector for several months. I got it during a lightning sale for about $175. So I have to say it's good for the price. It's not incredible or terrible. It's great for watching movies and playing games on a 105-inch screen, but there are pros and cons. The fan is very loud. When I use it for gaming, I usually wear headphones and don't notice it. But for watching movies without an external speaker system - too loud. The resolution is native 1024x768 (as it is now stated in the description). This is not a true 1080p projector. It accepts 1080p signals well but only displays them in 720p. Contrast is exactly as advertised at 3000:1 so some dark scenes from movies or games may appear washed out in the dark and bright scenes may appear slightly overexposed, some image details are lost. But overall it's still an HD screen worth seeing. I really didn't experience any input lag when playing on the PS4. When switching from my Samsung LED TV in gaming mode to a Pravette projector, I really don't feel any difference in input lag. The projector claims to have an output of 3600 lumens, but it looks like it can only refer to white light, not colour. The color flower looks much smaller. BUT it's still a bright image and can be viewed in low ambient light, it's just not super bright. The only thing I have with this projector is its focus. It has no single focus. The center can be sharp, but the corners remain slightly fuzzy. There's no way to set it up so that the entire screen is in full focus. However, I had some problems after the first 2 months. Inside it either started sparking or the lightbulb flickered as if it had burned out. It made a loud crack and the screen started flickering. After that, the black levels on the left side of the screen became dark blue, and the colors on the left side were also slightly washed out. It gets worse with more use. After I contacted the seller about the problem, he immediately sent me a brand new projector. It's been about a month and until now I haven't had the same problem with a new projector. Conclusion: If you want to buy this projector, wait until it goes on sale. $249 is NOT worth it. This projector is good for gaming (games that don't require a lot of contrast) and general movie watching indoors and outdoors. I wouldn't recommend this for a home theater setup or if you're looking for a 1080p LED TV with similar picture quality.
