I have been using this cap on my 100-400 lens for a long time. I think it effectively hides the lens. It also makes you look like a serious wildlife photographer. There are a few parts I don't use, notably the velcro ring that you have to put on when it's fully enlarged. So you're in the field and only put the camouflage stripe on your lens at 400 zoom and take it off when you zoom out. Is not nobody got time for that. The bird flew away while you were messing with your camouflage. So I don't use that part. and the cone ring at the back keeps slipping off. It only needs to be adjusted when attaching and detaching the camera. Now I need a tripod lens case and that's it.
