Review on Sunbeam THM8QA R001 31A00 Microplush Heated Throw by Will Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My wife and mum love their heated throws

We have several Sunbeam heated throws, some microfiber some micro plush, although they all basically work the same, the remote controls sometimes differ in shape and size. This particular purchase was very cheap (less than $10), shipped and sold by Revain, but the product page didn't list the color. The image was dark red and we got dark green. We bought two extra rolls at the same time and the colors were random; one was checked and the other gray. So three purchases and three different colors. My wife and mum love their heated throws but I've found that they seem to lose some of their warmth over time (years) possibly due to multiple washes but I'm not sure. Why. Also I think the blankets are a bit small but they are really good for keeping your knees and legs warm but don't expect them to comfortably cover your whole body like a blanket. The Sunbeam makes an "oversized" throw that is longer but relatively expensive. These cheaper throws, despite their limitations, are still $30 or less, and we've even replaced one with the Sunbeam under warranty. Even if they are not perfect I give them 5 stars because they are effective and good value for money and make cold nights more comfortable for my wife and make them more comfortable for everyone around.
