I didn't know what to expect from this generic radio. The first word that came to mind was "awesome". The FM station scan was quick and I got 25 stations including all the stations I listen to. Even when listening indoors, I didn't have to extend the antenna. I had a TF card with songs and all the songs played fine when I switched to MP3 mode. This is a useful feature when you are in an area with poor reception or just want to listen to your favorite music. The area I had some trouble with was scanning AM stations. The main reason I wanted AM/FM radio was to listen to my favorite AM sports channel for SF Giants (680). Like most men I didn't read the instructions and could only scan stations at 3am and AM 680 wasn't one of them. I considered sending the radio back and then decided to read the instructions. After reading them I found that you have to long press the AM/FM button to toggle between the 9Hz and 10Hz options. Once I did that, I was able to scan all the AM channels I'm listening to. Of course, there is some noise on AM channels. You can move the radio to eliminate static electricity. It is no problem for me. The sound of this mini radio is very good. Both music and talk radio sound clear and have a very good volume. When listening to songs on the TF, you need to turn up the volume, but that's normal when listening to music from the card versus direct radio. I wasn't looking for a timer or clock radio so this radio was perfect in that area. The radio comes well packaged and includes a USB charging cable, although any micro USB cable will do. I gave the battery a 4 star rating as I just got the radio so haven't used it long enough to see how long it lasts. I should note that the radio was fully charged. I have a portable Bluetooth transmitter that I have tested with this radio. I plugged it into the headphone jack and paired the transmitter with a bluetooth speaker and it worked fine. I could listen to both radio stations and songs from the TF card through the bluetooth speaker. I'm sure I can do the same with Bluetooth headphones. One thing I wish the radio had a carrying case. A hand strap would have been nice, but then again the radio is so small that the strap would have been bigger. So far I am very happy with my purchase of the Retekless PR12 AM/FM radio. I can definitely recommend this radio. Update: 9/17/18 I was able to successfully use a bluetooth transmitter to pair with a bluetooth headset. Now I can listen wirelessly and not disturb others who may be nearby and don't want to hear my radio. Also, if you have a Bluetooth speaker with an "Aux" connection, plug an audio cable into the speaker's "Aux" port and the headphone jack and listen through the speaker.
