I was a little hesitant to test these outdoor/wet room speakers on the workbench at first. They just didn't sound that good. There were mids and highs, but the bass wasn't enough. Thankfully, the rear ceiling mount gives more bass room and the sound has improved. Overall build quality seems good, I appreciate no tweeter cables running through the cones like many speakers do. The speaker tabs are a bit finicky, especially if you remove them to make changes, but they work and I'm happy with the overall design. However, I am very disappointed with the power. With a 20 watt amp I can cause distortion in the speakers, which is a VERY far cry from the advertised 150 watt output. So this is a big disappointment. To be honest, I'm tired of companies that rebrand speakers claiming significant power, which is far from the truth. Thus, the OSD fails miserably and this falsification must be corrected. So if you can live with 15W of reliable, distortion-free power, then they're for you. Too expensive for what they actually do, hence 3 stars.
