Review on K KNODEL Sturdy Car Trunk Organizer with Insulated Cooler Bag - Heavy Duty Collapsible Storage for Car, SUV, Truck, Van (3 Compartments, Red) by Greg Simms

This trunk organizer looks like it was almost custom made for my 2020 Subaru Outback. It fits very well between the rear wheel arches and has enough space to "widen" them. I was a little surprised at the organizer's weight when I took it out of the shipping box. It folds well, appears to be made of quality materials and is well constructed. After expanding all three compartments, lowering the floors of rigidity into two normal compartments and installing them in the hold, I was very satisfied with the ergonomics and accessibility. Even though it was laying on the boot lid that came with my car (rather than directly on the carpet underneath), it didn't slide. I haven't installed the anchor straps yet, but they will certainly help hold it in place. A few areas that might be a cause for concern: 1. The zipper on the "fridge" compartment is not very strong.2. The cooler compartment itself has a plastic liner but doesn't appear to have any additional insulation. I think it's more for water/condensate retention rather than real cooling storage capacity expansion. I've heard from other reviews that the compartment isn't intended for adding loose ice as it may not be fully watertight. If I store cold things in it for a long time, I will use ice packs. I have to check that further. One compartment has a divider to make it into two smaller compartments. While the partition wall is fixed at the ends with two Velcro strips, the compartment itself only has a matching Velcro strip on one side for fastening. - a very good cargo organizer that fits particularly well in the outback. It's bigger and a lot cheaper than Subaru's "official" organizer, and I think it's more functional. I have just received it, time will tell how it holds up in use. Upon closer inspection, there is no reason to believe that this will not happen. I will update the review if there are any issues.
