I agree they make small loops. In my opinion, only the largest bow in this small set is really useful for decorating the cake. The next smaller will work for a cupcake topper. Tiny probably has a use, but I haven't found it yet. (Mini cupcake toppers?) Still, I'm glad to have this tool in my arsenal and have absolutely no regrets that I bought it. Bows are beautiful, feminine, versatile and always tastefully accented. There is nothing to like. The problem is that the measurements given, which you might assume are the size of the finished sheet, are actually about half that size. because you cut the loop and then fold it in half. But that's the only problem with incisors. Otherwise they are great. They cut very well and are very clean; The assembly process couldn't be easier or quicker (maybe you can figure it out without a guide). And the finished product is just amazing! I have made many bows. It's so easy, once you have what you need, you just move on, expecting to save some for other uses. I use a mixture of 1/2 fondant and 1/2 gum paste, rolled out very thinly (to resemble ribbons). I got as skinny as setting #4 on my pasta maker and they look amazing. I also do some bows with "legs", pointing to the sides (like arms) to make flat arches. This is a good option for a change. Sometimes I also slightly bend the bows down to place them over a bouquet of tiny flowers. It's not just arches with dangling legs - you can modify them however you like. I recommend you to buy the Big Set as well. All three are useful. I wish there was an extra large kit to make even bigger bows to use as cake topper. All three are useful.
