Review on 🚀 Enhanced Motor and Controller for Parrot AR Drone 2.0 by Chris Litton

I have both the AR Drone 2.0 that I bought a year ago and the latest AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition. My Power Edition quad landed unexpectedly and one of the motors was damaged. Replacing the motor can be a little tedious as you have to find the right angles to move the motor and control board in order to take out the old one and install the new one. After I replaced my broken motor with a new one, it ran flawlessly. I received a hardware version 6 motor, which is the same hardware version as the original motor of my Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition. This is a more powerful motor than the hardware version 5 motors I had on my original Parrot AR Drone 2.0 that I bought a year earlier. The difference is most noticeable during somersaults, as the version 5 motors always lose altitude while the version 6 stays rock solid and stays almost motionless in the air during a side somersault. I think the price is a bit high so I'm deducting 1 star. I also believe these motors will work on the original Parrot AR Drone 1.0.
