The motor has a power of 15 Watts and completes 28,000 revolutions per minute (RPM) when hovering. The motor is attached to its electronic controller which has been specially designed for the AR.Drone 2.0. This kit includes one motor with its controller card, 3 short metal screws and 3 long metal screws.

Fast auto and parts repair with app and remote control

Unfortunately the ceiling fan (which runs at high speed) on our AR Drone II broke on our covered patio. As a result, the front right engine no longer started properly. Engine ordered and replaced. It was a quick decision. Six screws and a clip holding the brace to the shaft (I used needle nose pliers to remove the tiny clip). The drone is back in the air.

Works great but expensive

So my dad and I have drones. And we thought it would be a great idea to fly them at night. I flew up and hit a telephone wire on the third floor. My drone fell on the sidewalk and landed on one of the motors. So I found that the motor board was missing a component which fell off on impact with the ground causing a short in the main board. I ordered from here, it took about 10 minutes to install, I connected my battery and it worked perfectly.

Fully functional spare part

The left front corner of the drone has not come off. The racks kept turning, but three corners went up, one didn't, and that was it. Who knows if there was electronics failure in the weak link or problems with the motor itself. This is the same result for me. Installing this new engine takes less than 5 minutes. There are countless videos online showing how to replace motors and they have really helped. In any case. new engine, the drone took off like a champion. I've docked a star because I…

Nearly perfect. best in remote and app controlled cars

The motor/controller looks the same as the ones that came with my drone. The engine does exactly what it should and has been running stable for a few months. One gripe I have with the controller is that the round hole is too big for the motor. This causes a problem on take off as this extra clearance allows the motor to move and eventually slides down and the blade flies off the drone. I fixed it by inserting a piece of plastic in the gap between the controller and the motor. This is only a…

I have both the AR Drone 2.0 that I bought a year ago and the latest AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition. My Power Edition quad landed unexpectedly and one of the motors was damaged. Replacing the motor can be a little tedious as you have to find the right angles to move the motor and control board in order to take out the old one and install the new one.
