Great RV Inverter

I bought a modified 1500w VertaMax inverter to use in my 38ft saddle bike trailer because I sometimes go 1-3 nights without a good one Shore power source 50 am using a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea. The CPAP requires 15 amps and 115 volts to operate. I connected the inverter to a dedicated outlet so I can plug in my CPAP machine at night when I don't have shore power. The power supply in my camper is 4 Interstate 6V 225AH deep cycle batteries connected in series/parallel. In total, this delivers 450 Ah, which is far more than I really need for an overnight CPAP machine. When needed I use a 2000w portable generator to charge the battery. The VertaMax inverter is ideal for this. I've also used it a few times to power my drip coffee maker - great inverter. I highly recommend this inverter for this type of application. Installation is easy and does not require an electrical engineer. Connect the plus and minus cables to the batteries and plug any AC device you want to control into the inverter's handy sockets (3pcs).
