Broke after a short use. Made from cheap chipboard.

I am disappointed with this chair. My goddaughter LOVES this. 2 stars for color and design. Zero stars for quality. He's only used it maybe 3 weekends since I bought it (when it comes to us). He only sits in it to read and puts his books on the lower panel. He has been normal height for 2 years. He doesn't stand or jump in. He doesn't move. The chair broke in several places. Self-tapping screws are clearly too heavy for thin chipboard. The photo shows how thin. Now I'm struggling to find something similar but better quality until he went in search of his favorite chair.
