The box says 'Commercial Grade' but I formed a strand into a star and when I was done half the light went out. This is your basic lights out, half lights out and good luck with that. I took five equal strips and screwed a 3" piece of 1/2" PVC pipe to each corner to make my star and the PVC dowels sticking out gave me something to wrap the light around. The slats were painted white to reflect light so the star could be seen 1/2 mile away. No problem. I put on extra single strands that I bought from the star and they are clearly visible at about 500 feet away.
