I got it for myself after using 18-105 and immediately felt the difference. The picture is clearer, the lens has excellent color reproduction. Separately, I would like to note the focusing speed of this lens, which is simply lightning fast! Finally, we managed to appreciate the tracking focus mode, and even in the normal focus mode, the lens focuses very quickly and practically does not miss. Another pleasant surprise was the stabilizer, which works flawlessly. When you take pictures in program auto mode, in low light, the camera can choose rather slow shutter speeds, and when you enter the playback menu and see values \u200b\u200bof 1/80 or shorter, then out of habit (developed after using 18-105) you think that the result is a daub, but with careful viewing you find a pretty sharp shot, which is good news! The lens has quite beautiful, in my subjective opinion, bokeh. Although I didn’t use fast fixes and there’s nothing to compare with, knowledgeable people confirm my point of view regarding bokeh, which is quite decent. Taking the lens in your hands you immediately feel the quality with which he made. A rather tight zoom and focus ring, which in my opinion is a big +. Many people write that the lens is dark, but this is not a drawback, but its design feature, as well as a decent weight and size. Another feature that took some getting used to is the minimum focusing distance of 1.5 meters. Sometimes you have to run away from the subject. I did not regret a single spent and am 100% satisfied with the purchase!
