They work great and were a breeze to install. I installed them with a spotlight in a four light bedroom on an existing dimmer. Remember they will not work with a dimmer, they will flicker uncontrollably. But a quick trip to the hardware store for a 0.75-cent switch and 10-minute changes, even for an electric novice, is all it takes. They're very bright, much brighter than the halogens I've previously installed with the bonus of easy dimming and Alexa color temperature control (in the photo I've attached the light is 10%, about as bright as those inefficient halogens). Highly recommended, especially if you have a home setup that doesn't allow for a smart switch (and even if you do, the cost of 4 such switches is comparable to 1 smart switch, so the best option in my opinion if you do this don't do a whole load of lightbulbs in hard-to-reach places).
