I've seen so many scrubs that claim to get rid of whiteheads and blackheads. While they're good at exfoliating skin, they rarely live up to their other claims. This Acure product is an exception. I think the reason is the high density/concentration of the granules (or whatever the fine sandy things are called). The granulate itself is also very large. So that seems like a winning combination. The granules seem to dig into the pores and — for lack of a better wording — "squeeze out” or "squeeze out” blackheads or comedones. This works best for me after my skin has been softened with water or a moisturizer for a while. . However, I had to train myself not to get carried away and not to rub too hard as it can make my skin look sore. Warning: I doubt these pellets will disintegrate after being thrown down the sewer. I could be wrong, but just in case I cover the drain with a strong paper towel to catch them. Anyway, I highly recommend this remedy if you are looking for a remedy that will really get rid of whiteheads and blackheads.
