Review on 👕 Premium Flannel: Lee Valley Ireland's Medium-weight Comfort by Steve French

I bought this bathrobe for my adult son based on my experience of a flannel bathrobe and Lee Valley pajamas of the same style that I bought for myself at least 10 years ago. The new bathrobe is soft and beautiful and my son loves it. However, the weight of the flannel in this robe is not as heavy as the fabric of my old robe. The fabric of this robe is heavier than a new robe, even after many, many washes and wears, and even with the loss of lint that contributes to the softness we desire. Whilst I was a bit disappointed with this I have compared this robe to another (which I recently bought for another family member) sold by a well known and reputable company and I think the fabric is of the same weight.
