As much as I didn't like the large board that screws on like a large hard drive, the adapter didn't fit. I bought 2 devices, both didn't work with either SD-IDE adapters or 2.5 hard drives. I then asked for 2 replacements and none of them worked. The same devices worked fine with other adapters on the same computer. Only 4 such adapters and none of them worked. The soldering of the components also looked extremely weak. Don't waste your time like me.
