Expensive, poor quality

$12.99 is really too much for such a cheap adapter. I ripped off the Molex connector when removing it directly from the board for troubleshooting. I don't think I was cruel with this or anything, more molex connectors just stick together and they used brittle plastic that fell out of the little holes that were supposed to hold the connector. I should probably return, but I'll just solder a new Molex connector.

unusable. The 2.5 inch pad is not installed correctly and no drive can be connected.

This thing is useless. Along with the poor quality hand soldering, the 2.5" female header is flush with the board. This places the female pinholes well below where the pins protrude from the 2.5" drive. Actually there is no way to connect a 2.5 inch drive to this board.

Avoid it! Computers and Accessories

As much as I didn't like the large board that screws on like a large hard drive, the adapter didn't fit. I bought 2 devices, both didn't work with either SD-IDE adapters or 2.5 hard drives. I then asked for 2 replacements and none of them worked. The same devices worked fine with other adapters on the same computer. Only 4 such adapters and none of them worked. The soldering of the components also looked extremely weak. Don't waste your time like me.
