Review on Samsonite Xenon Backpack Business Black Laptop Accessories in Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Scott Wilson

For several years I have used the Samsonite Xenon 2 as my everyday carry case. I carry laptops, tablets, a 15" USB display in my bag, lots of cables, flash drives, etc. The Xenon 2's Velcro was a bit worn but still worked. but. With the Xenon 3.0 I can carry all the same things but no longer looks or feels bulky or cluttered. There's more pocket space, although I'm not sure how they did that. The bag is also more comfortable on my back. when worn on both straps. Xenon 2 was more convenient to carry on a carrier. The upper front pocket is larger, has a larger opening and more space for a laptop/tablet. The velcro is on a longer strap but has less velcro surface area overall, which I think will allow it to withstand the wear and tear I've seen on the Xenon 2. Samsonite kept the double can pockets on the sides and made it easier to organize the front bottom of the bag. ze. A clear evolution in the line. Excited about this new bag! TO UPDATE! (Quality issues, downgrading from 5 to 3 stars!) The pen falls apart in less than a year. Very disappointed. I love the roomy interior and still wear it on my back straps, but really liked the grip and am very unhappy that the durability of such an obvious utility item was so poor. 2nd update! I contacted Samsonite support and they asked me to send them the bag for evaluation and possible repair. They eventually repaired the handle and sent the bag back to me, but I had to pay for shipping to the Samsonite facility. I could have left it at one of their facilities but there was no one within 50 miles. That is, the handle has been repaired. It doesn't appear to be noticeably stronger than before, so I suspect it will fail in the same fashion over time. I started using the bag again and after about two weeks the main zipper started to fail. Therefore, despite sufficient support, I give it a rating of 3 stars. While it's a great bag, it's two failures in one year and I didn't want to spend money to send it back in for repairs. I just bought a new backpack from another manufacturer.
