Review on Briever Multi Functional Charging Organizer Nightstand by Kevin Phillips

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended, functionally and aesthetically

Would I buy this lamp again or recommend it to my friends? Absolutely. Pros: • Good value for money • Delivered on time in perfect condition • Looks great • Dim, soothing orange lighting (bright enough depending on bulb used) • Versatile (lighting and storage) • Very easy to assemble • Clean, simple Instructions for each skill level (it's on a single sheet of paper) Cons: • Doesn't fit my iPad (2nd gen 12.9") in the case (it *fits* easily when not in the case) • Cardboard and plastic Opening the packaging was a bit of a hassle (but obviously largely responsible for the product appearing in perfect condition - this was solved with standard scissors and some patience) • No bulb included (not for me, that's a big deal - I'm pretty sure they mentioned it in the description, it's only worth mentioning) So far I like mine. It was within my budget and I was in dire need of saving space on my nightstand for my CPAP, a box of tissues, my glasses, my wallet and other little things that end up there at the end of the day, this lamp took the clutter out of my head and my room significantly lightened. It has exactly the aesthetic I wanted, and it was in my price range - it gives off a nice, warm, muted orange glow behind the canvas lampshade, which is great to turn off at the end of the day. I'm looking to put a less intense bulb in mine soon, I just used what I had on hand. Incidentally, the E26 base of the lamp works with an A19 light bulb. This lamp's packaging is *good* for what it does. This item turned out to be in perfect condition thanks in large part to this packaging, but the downside was that it was a bit difficult to open the box, to take it out of the box (it was packed quite tightly, I wanted to be careful with it ) and unwrap the plastic on the lamp itself (I used scissors to cut through the plastic that was tied around the base and it took a while to unfold the top which had a strong plastic band around it ). understand why they packaged it the way they did. It was efficient, efficient and conservative to keep the lamp safe during transport, it was a little inconvenient for the person trying to use the product when it was already there. However, once I took it out of the box, everything else was a breeze. I had a brief moment of confusion trying to place my phone on the lamp's base and it didn't fit. As it turns out, if I'd even stopped for 5 seconds to read an instruction I would have known the lamp was upside down with the lampshade to save space in transit. You unscrew the ring that holds the lampshade, turn the lampshade upside down, screw it back in, screw in your (A19) lightbulb, hook up your electronics and flip the switch and you'll have a working lamp in no time. The hardest part of setting it up was taking it out of the box, which took about 10 minutes. Protocol. All in all it took me about 15 minutes. As you professionals and avid hobbyists may have figured out by now, product assembly is not what I do. So if you're like me, don't worry, this lamp is beginner friendly. One small thing that disappointed me a little - I have the iPad Pro (2nd Gen 12.9") that you see in the photo with my review, plugged into one of the socket slots and charged with a flashlight, it fits perfectly *without* case, but not *with* case. I'm a very clumsy person and don't really like taking my devices out of their cases because they can break, so I'll probably keep my iPad next to a bedside lamp until I find a better solution. I'm totally happy with it for what I paid. I highly recommend this lamp if you want to make the most of your space and money. It's functional, affordable and looks great here.
