This product does exactly what it was designed to do. And the price is outrageous. It doesn't work with a thru-axle, and it's not supposed to. Some have complained that it doesn't work for them. Well, if you buy it for the wrong application, it won't. It's not the product's fault, it's your fault for not understanding how it works. Some have complained that you have to align the derailleur with the lowest gear. This shows in the design. If it had been designed to work with other switch positions, it would have been a lot more difficult and would have cost a lot more than $8. The only complaint I have is that the spring was too long and had to be trimmed to allow the clip to tighten on the frame dropout.
