Our tub/shower didn't have any shelving or storage space and the rim of the tub was barely big enough to put a bottle, making it difficult to find a good spot to put Items found in the bathtub while bathing or showering. I've tried corner shelves with tie rods, but they don't work well between the ledge on the ceiling and the narrow ledge of the tub, so they just don't fit there. I was concerned that these shelves might not stick firmly or adhere well to the walls, but the adhesive is very strong and so far they have held in place very well. The smaller shelf holds a medium sized shampoo and conditioner, a body scrub, two face scrubs and a scalp massage brush. The bottom shelf has 2 large bottles of shampoo and conditioner and a large body soap and that's not a problem either. I didn't read the description carefully so at first I thought it was two identical shelves but one slightly different so it could fit the larger one. What they both have in common, however, is the same basic construction, which is largely open to allow the maximum possible water drainage. I had a previous metal shelf that hung around the shower head but it was rusting so I'm hoping they don't rust, or at least not anytime soon. As long as they drain well and peel off easily. They were pretty easy to install as it's as easy as peeling off a sticker and sticking it on the wall. I installed them on a tiled wall and cleaned the walls very well (actually it was after a light renovation so they were very clean and dry). I recommend, as advised, waiting the full 24 hours before placing anything on the shelves as this gives the glue time to really set and form the best bond possible. If you do it right, these shelves are very strong and can hold a decent amount of weight.
