Disappointing in packaging

Light arrived well protected as stated on packaging. There was nothing on the packaging or product to describe it as a 400w Vitamotor. After removing the packaging, it became clear that savings had been made everywhere to reduce costs. The coating is thin and scratches easily. Machining is poor, although not surprising for an injection molded product. In short, this light exudes cheapness. Other than that it was an expensive lamp and doesn't need to meet the same standards as a more expensive one. There were no instructions or even any documents in the box. I tested the light before installing it to make sure it worked. It happened and all the lights came on. At that point I was sure it wasn't a 400W light bar. However, I started the installation process because I believed the darkness would be a real challenge. When I get up, the light is attractive enough from afar. It was getting dark, and soon my original predictions came true. The light has a very short projection range. My pickup truck's high beam (halogen) headlights could shine further than a 400w LED light bar. Even when illuminating a building to verify a target, there was no hot or centralized drive fifteen yards away that I had with other light panels. This light is a strong beam of light, and given that limitation, it does a good job of illuminating a wide swath of ground not far from the distance my close-up rays reach. This would be a very efficient light for low speed off-road or industrial/agricultural use.
