Before these, I settled on COUGAR Immersa Pro - they suited everyone except for the ever-interfering wire. We needed exactly wireless ones, with good sound, volume, and so that the ears and head do not hurt after several hours of use. Colleagues advised the SteelSeries Arctis 7, but after studying their lineup and reading reviews, I decided to stay with the Pro model. I connected the docking station with the cable that comes with the USB3.1 hub, everything was quickly determined and worked under Win10. I started checking the sound - there is not enough volume, even if the device and the OS are turned to the maximum. I think that for nonsense, it should not be! I started to understand, it turns out that there are settings in the "box" and there is a volume limiter by default! After turning it off, the volume began to suffice. I installed proprietary SteelSeries Engine software from the official site. Not immediately, but I found the settings of the device, offered to ate the firmware, but it was successfully completed only the second time! I screwed everything up there (see photo), it became like the norm, but when there is no sound in the headphones, there is a hiss, which some call "white noise". Probably, you can get used to it, but it would be better if there was a soundproofing effect when you do not hear the sounds from outside. And so I write this review in headphones, I hear both hissing and the sound of pressed keys on the keyboard. I tried simultaneous connection to the iPhone (via Bluetooth) and a PC - it works, through Y. Music from a smartphone, the volume is with a large margin. The microphone works, but I do not use it on the desktop. I also did not try to connect via optics, this output is occupied by the receiver. I didn’t like the design of attaching the ears to the shackle, I’m afraid it may not survive a fall to the floor. Yes, and the screed on the shackle, although comfortable and does not put pressure on the head, but it looks flimsy, what will happen to it after a year or two of operation is unclear, there are no consumables in the 2022. By the way, it came to me a little wrinkled (see photo). The last minus is the price, it costs like a console, and because of the hillock, I personally am not ready to order.
