Update: I was trying to use this so my rabbit can sit on my lap while driving and I can keep an eye on him. Terrible even for that, the fabric soaks it all up. I threw it away. I bought this bag for my 7lb bunny and it fits true to size. With many treats he will yell about it when covered, but will still get very upset if carried around and will burst out as soon as he is laid down. Which is bad because /// it can come loose /// Pros: Not heavy but strong enough, it doesn't deform too much when worn. The zipper is easy to move. Cons: No way to secure the Velcro that keeps the bag closed. A determined or panicked pet can bang their head on this Velcro and easily push it out, even if the zipper isn't moving. My rabbit made it very easy. I was going to find a homemade way to keep it closed, but now I'm not worried because since that velcro is weak, my rabbit has already bitten off the bottom flap and it's wearing away. It wasn't serious chewing, mind you, he //bited// off it, and the thin layers of tissue immediately came off. I don't know if I can return the damaged bag but I hope so. I bought this bag because I'm moving and wanted an inexpensive tote bag that my rabbit can sit in when it comes out of the cage and I saw this bag recommended on YouTube. I really needed a secure bag because I can't leave it in the car when we stop for lunch. Now I'm scared if I use it it will get scared and swerve into a busy parking lot. Hopefully I can find a better option before we go.
